We Do Exterior Painting Right!
| Step 1: Pressure Washing |
|
All painted surfaces are pressure washed with a bleach and tri-sodium phosphate mix to remove any mold, mildew, algae or dirt. This ensures a clean surface prior to painting.
|
| Step 2: Surface Preparation |
|
All painted areas that are peeling, cracking, flaking, chipping, or areas where the bare wood is exposed will be thoroughly scraped, sanded, primed and caulked in preparation for painting.
|
| Step 3: Carpentry/Repairs (If Any) |
|
Items on the contract to be repaired or replaced at this time. Rotten or damaged wood discovered during the preparation process that was not on the contract will be brought to the clients' attention immediately. The Client will then need to decide how they wish to address repair issues.
|
| Step 4: Painting |
|
Paint will be applied using Sherwin-Williams Acrylic Super Paint, unless otherwise specified. All metal components will be coated with a rust inhibiting primer and finished with an oil-based paint.
|
| Step 5: Clean Up |
All areas of work will be cleaned of materials, tools, and debris each day after completion of work.
(Some small paint flakes may remain as it is very difficult to pick up every individual paint flake.)

| Step 6: Inspection |
|
The client will be asked to review completed work to verify their satisfaction with the job.
